Helping enable students, schools, and communities for success

Total access to educational technology, content, and communities, combined with true learning that comes from individual attention and experience, leads to meaningful outcomes for students, parents, and teachers. Together, this can shape a brighter future for everyone.

Research. Implementation. Results.

Project RED conducted the first and only national study of education technology to focus on student achievement and financial implications. In their research of nearly 1,000 schools, they discovered a replicable design for successfully introducing technology into the classroom - one that leads to improved student performance and cost benefits.

Best practices for implementing technology

The Project RED study on the effectiveness of large scale technology initiatives proved out some very important data and valuable strategies. It is helping many educational institutions and legislative bodies fully realize that it’s not just about the device. It is about the improved instructional practices enabled by the technology that had the most impact.

Project RED Briefs

Project RED started the Signature District program which compiles annual data and key insights from 20 districts of varying sizes, demographics, and implementations. The detailed findings from these schools have been consolidated into briefs organized into five main focus areas for use by the education community. Project RED brings a wealth of new research-based evidence on what really works and what does not when it comes to the transformative power of education technology.
